Self Half Portrait
About it:
My self half portrait is the drawing of the half of my face, the other half is a picture taken during art class. I drew it with different pencils some of then lighters than others. For drawing the half of the portrait i used the rules of proportion so the eyes, mouth, noise and ears will be in the adequate place. The shadow was the most challenging for me and i think that that is the worst part of my project because i should had made them darker. I think that the face looks very dark at one side and light at the other because of the type of pencils i used. I am happy with the result because the half part of my face looks more like me than i think so it will look like when i started.
Reflection:
After looking over and over again i realized that my half portrait looks good even though there are some things to correct. I put a lot of effort in drawing my face similar to how it looked in the picture. I had trouble doing the shadows and making it look good and with perspective because i was not sure were exactly did the light came from to the photo. The hair was a challenge because it had to look very good so the face can look similar. I think that this project was very fun to do because we can draw ourselves and have fun doing it while also learning about shadows, light

My island of mi life is am island that has all of the things i like and that i have lived in my past. I describe my past with drawings and objects, the 15 Christmas with presents means all the Christmas i have lived and the presents i received and how we spent good times in family. There are many symbols that describe who i am as a person and the things i like to do0 in my free time or what are my passions. The colors that i used are also my favorite colors and the island has the form of my initials. When i was working on the drawing y imagined how i will like my island to be if i have one, so based on that i draw the form and the symbols that represent who i am and what i like.

Abstract
About it:
My abstract drawing is personal, it has my touch of color and that makes it different from any other work. I used a lot pointing in my drawing because it is very fun to do it and i had fun making the two colors unified with dots. The worksheet has many shapes and colors. I wanted to make it look very colorful and alive so that its why i used colors as orange, red, yellow instead of dark colors as black. My drawing expresses how i felt in that moment, very happy and having fun, that its why i did the drawing with bright colors and with many shapes. I tried to do my drawing so that it will look as a mixture of colorful candies and shapes, i hope i could have reach my goal of making it look very colorful and fun.
Reflection:
I think my abstract work seems very alive and colorful and that is what i wanted. I think i achieved my goal with this project because i wanted to make it look good and at the same time that it meets the specifications that we were required to do. I am happy of what the product is and how it looks. It was difficult to fill in all the white spaces of the worksheets so that the project can look better. I had some struggles doing the cross hatching because it was difficult for me do that type. What i found the most fun to do was to draw the lines as we want because we could do what ever we want.
